| These naturalistic teaspoons are also found in other varieties which include flowers and insects in their motifs as well as leaves. All these teaspoons reflect the rococo interest in precisely imitated natural forms which was current from the late 1730s but they probably stopped being made around 1770. Sets of naturalistic teaspoons, boxed or unboxed, are rare since they were only made for about 40 years. They are charming objects to own and are always good conversation pieces. | ||
