This sugar sifter spoon is a charming way of sprinkling caster sugar over soft fruit and other puddings and would make a very good gift. George Adams was married to Mary Chawner and was the last in the Chawner dynasty of silversmiths. He was the most prolific maker of spoons and cutlery in his time and often designed his own patterns. Whatever he made was of excellent quality.
