Attractive, Victorian silver rowing prize medal won by Exeter College Boat Club, Oxford, in 1872. The obverse is applied with the coat of arms of Exeter College. The reverse is applied with the words "Exeter College Boat Club" on a girdle around the border. In the centre, within a wreath of laurel and oak leaves is engraved "Meade Fours 1872".

This is a very fine medal. Exeter College is one of the Oxford University Colleges ans was founded in 1314 by Walter Stapleton, bishop of Exeter.
