This is an extremely versatile serving implement
which would make an ideal gift. Not only can it be used to serve meat,
vegetables or salads but it would also make a very useful pasta fork to-day.
Richard Crossley was one of the best spoonmakers of the late 18th and early
19th centuries. His output of flatware was considerable. Much of it is still in
use to-day and is characterized by a consistently graceful shape and extremely
good balance.
