Royal Welsh Agricultural Society silver prize medal in original box. Obverse: stamped image of a winged dragon passant with tongue out and curled tail. Stamped on the surround, on a matted ground: . ROYAL . WELSH . AGRICULTURAL . SOCIETY . At centre base are stamped the Prince of Wales' feathers and crown. Reverse: within a stamped garland of leeks and wheat in engraved E.C. POINTON/ ALL BRITISH/ WHEATMEAL LOAF/ 1932.The hallmarks are stamped at the base, beneath the garland and are very faint. Maker :- C & C

Condition :-Extremely fine and toned. The hallmarks are very faint

Size :- 1.75 inches (27.1 mm) diameter
Only the richer Agricultural Societies could afford to send their prize medals to be hallmarked. The dragon in the centre of the obverse makes this a very attractive medal which has been well preserved by its box.
