George Adams married Mary Chawner in 1838. From
1840 to 1883 the business of Chawner & Co. was in his hands. The company
were extremely prolific spoonmakers of very high quality. Although this
medicine spoon is a collector's item, it would make an ideal gift for a young
child due to its sturdiness, easy grip and choice of bowls.
