Benjamin Wyon, seal-engraver, was the son of Thomas Wyon. In 1831 he succeeded his father as Chief Engraver of His Majesty's Seals. This Pass must have been struck between 1831 and the start of Queen Victoria's reign in 1837 when the Royal coat of arms changed. These Stockbroker's Passes are becoming quite difficult to find today.
