Stock No. 2696	Six Queen Anne silver counters
	Six Queen Anne uniface counters made of thin shells of silver, Circa 1702. Bust of Queen Anne looking left, hair bound in knot, lovelock on the right shoulder. In the field, A R. No reverse.

Condition :-Extremely Fine. A couple of the counters have a slight dig around the edge but they are all in good condition considering their age

There are a number of variations of these counters which were not executed by the Royal Mint. These counters were struck in large quantities to be used for gaming and reckoning. Gaming was extremely popular, both with men and women of all walks of life.
