Decorative and unusual George III sterling
silver fish slice. London 1806 by Alice & George Burrows II. The handle is
plain fiddle pattern. The spatulate slice curves to a point and is decorated
with lines of dot and wriggle-pattern bright-cut engraving around the edge The
centre of the slice has a cut-out design of "Prince of Wales
feathers" defined by bright-cut engraving. Above, is a bright-cut vase
with foliage and flowers and beneath, an empty rectangular cartouche bordered
by wriggle and dot bright-cut lines.

It is the Prince of Wales feathers decoration that
