Very smart-looking George III sterling silver rectangular
salver on four feet. London 1811 by William Burch. The plain salver has a bold
gadroon border and each of the feet is edged with gadrooning which ends at the
base is a squirl resembling a ram's horn. The centre of the salver is engraved
with a crest of a mailed right arm who's hand is holding a dagger and a motto
below "INIMICA TYRANNIS". A full set of hallmarks is stamped on the
back of the salver and these are very crisp and clear.
