These reference marks were used a great deal in
the first quarter of the 20th century. This one is discreetly placed and is not
obtrusive. This sweetmeat dish is a charming object and would look very
decorative on a dining table or on a small table or a dressing table. It would
have many uses today and would make an excellent present.
