Set of three George III beakers with plain, tapering, bodies and gilt interiors. All three of them have extremely good hall-marks inside the foot. The hall-marks include the incuse head duty mark which was only used in 1784 and 1785 and is of especial interest to some collectors. All three beakers are made from a particularly heavy gauge of silver.

These beakers were most certainly part of a larger set of 12 or more. The fact that their blemishes are only very slight shows that they were used with care since the late 18th century.
