Condition :-Excellent condition, with very clear hall-marks on the side of the foot.

This jug holds 1/8th of a pint of liquid. George Gray frequently overstruck silver articles made by Hester Bateman and her successors, Peter and Anne. It seems likely that he bought small items such as cream jugs extensively from them.
