| The many-headed monster on the reverse symbolizes the variety of evil passions which were agitating the people of England at that time. This medal was struck either in Holland or in Germany by an artist who signed himself "F.". The device on the reverse appears to have been strongly influenced by a medal executed in Saxony by Heinrich Reitz the younger in the same year, although the legend is not the same. | ||
