The full set of hallmarks and makers mark are clearly stamped on the reverse/end of the stem.

The manufacturing silversmith company Henry John Lias and Son was part of a family business which had been established in 1791 by John Lias and continued until 1884 with slight variations in name depending on which Lias was active at that time. Their work was of a high standard and was sold by a wide range of quality retail shops such as Garrards, Selfridges, Mappin and Webb and many others.
