Amusing Edwardian sterling silver novelty pepper pot modelled as a hare which makes a good conversation piece at the dining table. The forehead is pierced to allow the pepper to come out and is filled by removing the head.
Maker: Grey & Co. Birmingham 1903.

The two front feet are each partly hallmarked as is the collar of the pull-off head.
